Historical Context

The archetype of the modern dive watch was established in 1953 to meet the rigorous demands of early underwater exploration. A defining innovation was the 60-minute graduated bezel, designed to allow divers to safely track immersion times and calculate decompression stops. The combination of a stark black dial with oversized, highly luminous geometric markers was engineered specifically to maximize legibility in the murky depths of the ocean. This highly functional, high-contrast layout quickly became the universal standard for professional marine instruments.

Product Description

This wall clock faithfully reproduces that legendary aquatic design. The deep black dial provides a striking contrast against the UV-reactive luminescent hour markers and distinctive hands. A mineral glass lens magnifies the functional date display at the three o'clock position for easy reading across the room. The outer bezel features the classic 60-minute diver graduation layout. Powered by a high-torque, silent sweeping quartz movement, the continuous second hand glides smoothly without the distraction of an audible tick. The entire unit is housed within a substantial, cold-milled stainless steel chassis.
